Surf and Turf

Hey guys, I finally went to the restaurant where people were raving about six months ago. As in the title, it is surf and turf. I had gone to nights in a row. I am not a food critic or expert, but this is how I felt about my two meals.

The first night I had lasagne. This is technically a seafood place but they still do have a variety of Italian foods, like shrimp alfredo or scampi. Anyways so I had the lasagna. The lasagna was a good portion of the dinner portion. It had a nice amount of meat and cheese in it. But on the top of the lasagne, the layer of cheese wasn’t there. Also, it felt like it was premade lasagna. like they had made it the night before and just had it on a warming station.

The next day I went back for another chance. This time I ordered what they are known for their seafood. I like crab cake so I ordered that. The crab cake was a decent size and they were very generous with the fries that they had given on the side. The cake was well done with a nice crisp outer side with the inside fully cooked. This reasoning was great.

Then I also had a piece of mint cake. The cake was a little dry but the icing help it a little bit. You could tell the cake was made homemade because of the icing.
